I work with challenges that may arise for parents at different stages, including fertility issues and baby loss, gender disappointment, fear of birth, birth trauma, intrusive thoughts, antenatal and postnatal anxiety and depression, difficulty bonding. I support parents to adjust whether it is their first child or they are juggling a growing family. I believe that people are always trying their best to cope, but sometimes these ways of coping stop working as well or become problems themselves. I know how much pressure there is to be ‘perfect’ parents and how much strain that can cause.

Depending on your preferences, I can use and integrate various therapies including eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and compassion-focused therapy (CFT). For couples I use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

I believe that feeling safe and understood is key to getting the most from therapy, so I create a compassionate and non-judgemental space for you to talk through your difficulties, and I will work together with you towards your desired goals.
